FBLA
Gateway To Greatness!!  The objectives of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) are to enable members to gain confidence in themselves and their work in order to improve the business world around them, to better prepare themselves as leaders and to improve their business skills to the point where they will be able to successfully handle an entry-level position after high school graduation.

FBLA activities are based on a five-point plan encompassing business knowledge and skills, financial activities, leadership and promotional functions, school and community service and social awareness.

All Stonewall Jackson business students may participate in any of the local activities. In order to participate on regions, state or national level, students must pay state and National dues. Only those students currently enrolled in a business class are eligible for membership.

Group Announcements
Congratulations Members of The Month!
FBLA officers implemented a new program this year to encourage membership participation.  Each month officers review the participation for the past month and identify outstanding members.  Outstanding members are voted on by the officers and a member is awarded a certificate, their picture is displayed in the business hall and in the gym lobby.

Winners are the following:
September - Darion Blake - Darion volunteered to help with the membership drive.  He gave afternoon time to decorate the halls of the business dept.

October - Adam Agostini - Adam impressed the officers when he became a regular participant in the Project ASK, Project SANTA meetings.  Adam is a freshman and officers would like to see more freshmen with this level of enthusiasm.

November - Nicolette Honeycutt - Nicolette volunteered to act as chairperson for the Project ASK, Project SANTA.  She held organized and planned committee meetings and was the driving force to engage staff, administration, members and students to volunteer.
